Written Safety & Health Program:
We have a comprehensive written Safety and Health Program based upon the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards for the Construction Industry. We require all employees to be trained on the safety policy and to become familiar with its requirements.
Each employee must abide by the rules set forth in the program and perform their work in accordance with its standards. We maintain strict enforcement of this policy for our employees’ personal protection, their family’s financial protection, and the protection and safety of others.
Drug Test Policy:
All of our project sites are drug-free zones. We strictly enforce a policy of random drug testing for existing employees. In addition, all new employees are required to submit a urinalysis drug screen prior to employment.
All TQ Project Managers, Superintendents and field personnel are highly trained in all OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as construction safety and health principles.
All of our superintendents are required to complete the OSHA 30-hour course, which serves as a tool to educate employees on the scope and application of the OSHA construction standards with a special emphasis on areas that are the most hazardous.
Weekly Toolbox Talks:
All Superintendents conduct safety talks at their respective project sites at least once a week.
Subcontractors are also invited to attend the “Toolbox Talks” meeting in order to make sure the entire construction site is as safe as possible.
